Athleticademix Women’s Soccer Showcase
When is it?
Saturday 29th June, 2024 (9.00am – 1.30pm).
What is it?
The Athleticademix Women’s Soccer Showcase is a fantastic opportunity for current Athleticademix athletes to continue learning more about the US scholarship process and get the chance to play in front of US College coaches in attendance and/or those who watch the game recording after the event.
It’s also a great opportunity to obtain more match video footage to add to your promotional material (we will record the game using our Veo camera).
Prior to the game, there will be a talk, including a guest speaker and current College soccer player who will provide more insight into her time in the USA so far.

Schedule for the day:
- 09.00am – Arrival and Registration (free parking on site).
- 09.15am – Welcome talk & guest speaker.
- 10.15am – Players go to get changed (kits provided).
- 10.30am – Warm Up begins.
- 10.50am – Small-sided games.
- 11.15am – Full game kicks off.
- 1.15pm – Full Time.
- 1.30pm – Closing remarks and end of day.
Event Details
Cost:
- Free to attend for Athleticademix clients.
What to bring on the day:
- Football boots (we will be playing on a 3G pitch – no metal studs or blades will be allowed!)
- Shin pads.
- Athleticademix will provide playing kits!
- Water/sports drink.
- Warm-up top/waterproof jacket.
- Change of clothes.
- Medical/Recording waiver form (if not returned prior to event).
- Any medication/inhalers etc. which you may require.
Additional Information:
- Water, hot drinks and snacks/fruit will be provided for players and parents on the day.
- A fully qualified physio will be present for the event.
- Free car parking is available on site.
- Showcase game will be professionally filmed and the recording made available to all Athleticademix clients.
