Athleticademix Women’s Soccer Showcase
When is it?
Saturday 1st July, 2023 (10.30am – 4.00pm).
What is it?
The Athleticademix Women’s Soccer Showcase is a fantastic opportunity for current Athleticademix athletes to continue learning more about the US scholarship process and get the chance to play in front of US College coaches in attendance.
It’s also a great opportunity to obtain more match video footage to add to your promotional material (we will record the game using our Veo camera).
We will be holding a Q&A forum with College coaches before the game, so that players and parents can hear from them about this experience, in addition to asking any questions.

Lilleshall: The venue for our Women’s Soccer Showcase
Schedule for the day:
- 10.30am – Arrival and Registration (free parking on site will be signposted).
- 10.40am – Welcome talk & introduce College coaches in attendance.
- 10.50am – Relay the schedule for the day.
- 11.00am – Coaches Q&A Forum with players & parents.
- 12.15pm – Players go to get changed – coffee/tea for parents.
- 12.30pm – Parents & coaches shown down to pitch to watch game.
- 1.00pm – Warm-Up begins.
- 1.45pm – Game kicks off.
- 3.30pm – End of game and debrief.
- 3.45pm/4.00pm – Players get changed and can go home.
Event Details
Cost:
- £40 per player deposit for Athleticademix players to secure place (reimbursed in full the day after event).
What to bring on the day:
- Football boots (we will be playing on a grass pitch).
- Shin pads.
- Athleticademix will provide playing kits!
- Water/sports drink.
- Warm-up top/waterproof jacket.
- Change of clothes.
- Medical waiver form (if not returned prior to event).
- Any medication/inhalers etc. that you require.
Additional Information:
- Water, hot drinks and snacks/fruit will be provided for players and parents on the day.
- A fully qualified physio will be present for the event.
- Free car parking is available on site.
- Showcase game will be professionally filmed and the recording made available to all Athleticademix clients.
