About Taylor

Taylor Barrow is a physically imposing Central Midfielder who plays for Shrewsbury School – one of the strongest independent school programmes in the UK.

Taylor is a Fall 2026 recruit and will be utilising his ‘gap year’ from 2025-2026.

He has a natural engine to get up and down the pitch as a box-to-box CM or high-pressing ACM, and his height – 6’3″ – provides him with a distinct advantage, physically and aerially.

Taylor likes to drive forward with the ball and combine with teammates in the final third. He can score and create – and works very hard off the ball to recover and maintain good positioning behind the ball. Taylor is used to playing in a possession-based team and is very comfortable showing for the ball in deep positions or higher up the field on the half-turn to open up the opposition.
