ABOUT RIKKE

Rikke Steenhold is a Fall 2022 recruit and is one of the top young prospects in Danish Women’s Soccer. She is a natural goalscorer and has consistently played at an elite level throughout her youth career to date, including Denmark U16 and U15 national team caps.

Rikke currently plays for KoldingQ U18 team. In the 2020-21 season, she made 23 appearances and scored 19 goals.

Prior to last season, Rikke played for Fortuna Hjorring’s U18 team for two years and won the national youth league and cup.

As a player, Rikke enjoys playing off the shoulder of opposition defenders and her finishing is a key attribute. She has excellent speed and anticipation, which also enables her to react quickly in the penalty area and score “poacher’s” goals, too.
