About Marley

Marley Curtis has committed to Quincy University for Fall 2024.

She plays for Southampton Women’s FC and previously spent the past few seasons with the Southampton FC Academy RTC (Regional Talent Centre). Marley is also involved with the England Colleges representative team and has played mostly as a Right-Back/Right-Wing-Back.

Marley is strong, quick and very athletic. She is able to read play and intercept play, in addition to driving forward in possession and getting beyond the opposition back-line. Equally, Marley has the stamina and work rate to recover and has been coached well in terms of defensive positional shape and spacial awareness.

On the ball, Marley looks to combine where possible, but is not afraid to use her pace and strength to beat players in 1v1 scenarios. She possesses good technique and passing ability, and always wants to ball as an outlet for her team on the right side.

Academically, Marley scored 1020 on her SAT and has a current GPA of approx. 3.3
