About Lacey

Lacey Higgs is a Central Defender available for Fall 2027.

Lacey’s primary position is Center Back, but she is also more than capable of playing in the CDM role.

On the ball, Lacey shows great strength to keep possession. She is capable of driving out from the back to create space. Her range of passing a real quality, in tight areas or playing dangerous long balls to create direct changes for her teammates.

She plays for Crystal Palace U21’s in the PGA League, which is the highest level in the country for her age. She is also captain for this team. Prior to Crystal Palace she was at Arsenal, where she was also captain of U14’s-U16’s. Lacey also played for Arsenal U21’s at the age of 16. She was successful during her time with Arsenal, being crowned national champions and making the U16 FA Cup Final, twice.

Lacey has been recognised on the international level, having attended England training camps at the U15 level, making the standby list for the match day squad.
