About Joseph

Joseph Berry is an exciting, up and coming talent from Newport, Wales (UK). He is a Fall 2025 recruit.

Joseph is a Sprinter who trains with Newport Harriers Athletics Club – he runs the 100m, 200m and 60m (indoor). He is also keen to develop in the 400m and will look to improve his times and performances here going into 2025.

PB times:

60m indoor – 6.96 (January, 2023)

100m – 10.61 (10.49 +2.3 wind – June 2024)

200m – 21.34 (Aug, 2024) – U20 Welsh Champion.

In his first year competing at the U17 age group, he was crowned the U17 200m British Champion in February, 2023. In the same month, Joseph also won Gold in the 200m indoor at the Welsh Champs (with a Championship Best performance).

He earned Silver medals in the 100m & 200m at the Welsh Senior Champs in June 2024 – qualifying him for British Senior Champs and Olympic Trials.

Joseph also won the 100M and 200M at the U20 Welsh Championships with a national record time of 21.34 in the 200.

Joseph will have updated academic info later this year, but is currently working off an approximate GPA of 3.5.
