About Amy

Amy Woodhead is a Defensive Midfielder who currently plays in the FA Women’s National League for Oxford United. Last season Amy was a regular starter in the U21 Development Squad and also trained with the the First Team, making her debut against Bridgwater in the league cup!

A big strength of Amy’s is picking the ball up in the defensive third and starting the attack from the back, breaking lines with passes through to the attackers. She is comfortable with the ball at her feet and will carry over distance to ignite attacks too.

She holds a lot of strength and has great determination to win the ball back.

Amy will graduate from UK High School in Summer 2024 and is looking for Fall 2024 opportunities in the US Collegiate system.

She has a GPA of approx. 3.4 and scored 1090 on the SAT.
