About Amelie

Amelie Waine is a Central Midfielder available for Fall 2026. 

She plays for Blackburn Rovers FC Women. Amelie has played in the WSL Cup and made her full senior debut in October 2024, as well as being involved in numerous match day squad in the Barclays Women Championship this season.

Prior to joining Blackburn, Amelie spent 5 years at Liverpool FC Women’s Academy, She has also been a part of the England Talent Pathway.

Amelie’s favoured role is as Central Defensive Midfielder but she is versatile and can play across the midfield. She is a direct player, showing great strength in breaking out from the back with 1-2 touch forward passing.
